Details of The Specials and the Ticket Luck value

This incredible band, The Specials, is a rocking outfit, a ska revival band that saw its formation back in 1977. This spectacular British group was formed in Coventry within England and has since then entertained millions with their awesome music. The band has released many albums as well as hit singles and bagged a good number of awards for the excellence of their music. This amazing English outfit releases music that is as unique as their name implies; their music is a unique blend of ska with rocksteady beats mixed with punk influences. The songs themselves focus more on real issues such as social and political issues making up music that is unique, meaningful and mature. The original lineup of this amazing band was Jerry Dammers as the keyboardist and songwriter, Terry Hall as the vocalist and Lynval Golding playing the guitar and as well as on vocals.

This band first came to fame when it released the hit single, Too Much Too Young, off their first EP, The Special AKA Live!. This amazing song ranked first on the UK Singles charts at that time and is still massively popular today. This single was released back in 1979 when the band had entered the world of music and was followed by the 1981 hit single, Ghost Town, a song that was immensely popular and ranked number one on the UK Singles Chart. This song dealt with the important issue of unemployment and was the perfect example of excellent music; a blend of the best instrumentals, fabulous vocals and meaningful lyrics that addressed important issues. In the course of two years, from 1979 on to 1981, The Specials released around seven top ten hit singles that charted high on the UK Singles Chart, all of them released consecutively. In short, this incredible band is your best bet for the most amazing two tone ska around and all you need are The Specials Tickets.

The band rose to fame when it performed alongside The Clash after Joe Strummer, fabled member of this popular British band invited them. The band received a lot of exposure all over the UK. This band was part of a phenomenal movement that took place in the UK at that time and that involved political activism to bring about positive change and reformation. By 1979, the band had begun releasing its own music; the first single released by The Specials was the song Gangsters which was a remake of the song Al Capone by Prince Buster. This incredible debut song became an instant chart topper and a top ten single on the UK Singles Chart.

The Specials soon became a national sensation and release their first record in 1979, the LP titled as Specials. This LP contained a remake on the Prince Buster song, Rudy, A Message to You as well as a number of covers of songs by this artist and the band, Toost & the Maytals. 1980 saw The Specials release the EP, Too Much Too Young, an EP that became a massive hit and ranked first on the UK Singles Chart. The band then followed up with the album, More Specials, which contained a number of popular tracks and was followed by 1981's Ghost Town, a number one hit single.

The band soon followed up with the album In The Studio that contained the historical song, Free Nelson Mandela, a top ten hit on the UK Singles Chart at number nine. This song was important because it spread awareness on the plight of Nelson Mandela, South Africa and the widespread apartheid in South Africa. It soon became popular with anti-apartheid activists all over the world.

The Specials are now back, again, for some of the most incredible music out of the seventies and the eighties in the history of British music.
