Details of Paddy Mcguinness and the Ticket Luck value
Paddy McGuinness is a British television host, stand-up comedian and an actor. He is best known for his work in Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere, Phoenix Nights, and That Peter Kay Thing. Hilarious McGuinness has also released two of his DVD's under the names, Plus You! Live and Live. In addition, he has won accolades from the British people for his work with Peter Kay, also a comedian and for hosting a popular dating television program, Take Me Out.
Born Patrick Joseph McGuinness, in Farnworth, Bolton, he graduated from St. Joseph's secondary school in Farnworth. After graduating from school he initially decided to become a lab technician, but later changed his mind and undertook a series of jobs. Paddy McGuinness worked as a labourer, a warehouse worker, a waiter, a lifeguard and as a machine cleaner. As a holiday representative he also worked on the island of Corfu. He was still working as a lifeguard when he starred on the first series of Phoenix Nights and two episodes of That Peter Kay Thing. Appearances on these famous television shows made him a household name and needless to say he quit his lifeguard job. Phoenix Nights was so well liked by the British audience that its second series was aired as well. In order to continue with the theme of Phoenix Nights, its producers started a new series called Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere. McGuinness and Kay were the stars of this show as well. Their names became so catchy that the two released a fitness DVD under the title, Max & Paddy's The Power of Two.
Paddy McGuiness has made you laugh with countless appearances on television. He has been on The Match, which was aired on Sky One. He has also enthralled the British audience with another show for the same television channel called Inside Wayne Rooney. In this program he tried to match up to the famous football star by completing different tasks. Staying with football, he has also released a DVD with a title, Paddy McGuinness: All-Star Balls Ups! McGuinness is also a writer and he wrote Chuck Stryker: The Unknown Stuntman. Jonathan Wrather starred on this show with him.
Paddy McGuiness has also filled in for Paul O'Grady as a host for his show, The Paul O'Grady Show. One of his most memorable appearances was on the show called, Raiders of the Lost Archive, on ITV1. He presented the show with guests Michael Parkinson, Chris Tarrant and Bruce Forsyth. The theme of the show was that the presenter presented those videos to his guests, which were previously thought to be lost by his guests. He alongside Rory McGrath co-starred in a television series called Rory and Paddy's Great British Adventure. The famous series was aired on Channel Five. In this show the two visit the remote villages and towns of Britain, exploring Britain's sporting heritage. The series focused not on popular sports like football, but local games played only in a particular town or village like cheese rolling.
In addition to television, Paddy McGuiness has also been on the road frequently, visiting various towns, hamlets and cities, all across United Kingdom, simply with one objective in mind; to make British people laugh. During 2005-2006, he performed over 100 shows. He made a debut with the Dark Side Tour. During this tour, he played the role of Lord Love Rocket from his award winning comedy show, Phoenix Nights. A DVD under the same name was later released and was such a hit that it sold over 30,000 copies and that too in its very first week of release.
