Details of Kings Of Leon and the Ticket Luck value
Hailing from Nashville Tennessee, Kings of Leon have been in the music industry for the whole past decade but they rose to global fame with their recent chart toppers "Use Somebody" and "Sex is on Fire", prior to that they have been quite famous in U.K and Ireland. Over their years of play, the band have experimented several sub genres in the genre of rock music. Initially they adopted the blues and southern rock style of music, however with the passage of time their music started having a bit more mature feel to it, and for the past few years, Kings of Leon have expanded the horizons of their music by adopting Alt. Rock and Indie Rock genres.
Although the band is originally from United States, but they found their main stream success in UK's market first. The band rose to prominence as they gave out 9 incredible Top 40 Singles in U.K and to add up to that they also claimed two BRIT Awards in the year 2008. That in return improved the performance of all of their albums and at that time three of their studio albums charted amongst top five in the U.K albums chart.
Kings of Leon originally started off as duo that consisted of the brothers Nathan and Caleb Followill. They originally stepped into the music industry on the behalf of their song writing skills, but later as the brothers scored a deal with the RCA Records, they were insisted to increase the line up and form a proper band. For that reason, Nathan and Caleb recruited their younger brother Jared and their cousin Matthew. After the line up was complete, the band released their debut E.P entitled Holy Roller Novocaine in 2003. E.P played a vital role in establishing the Goodwill of the band before they came up with their debut album entitled Youth and Young Manhood. Although the album was minor success in homeland but it gave astounding amount of exposure to the band in Europe, specifically in U.K and Ireland. In fact it was cited "one of the best debut album of the last 10 years" by New Musical Express. That also helped them launch their career as live performers as well, as they were selected to perform along with U2 and the Strokes.
The second album that followed was entitled Aha Shake Heartbreak. Since their previous album garnered more success in U.K as compared to their domestic success, their second album was released in U.K before it was released in U.S. Featuring singles like King of the Rodeo, The bucket and the Four Kicks "Aha Shake Heartbreak" really helped the band in further expanding their fan base both in U.S and U.K. And more fan base meant more live performances, and that was duly done by the band on the live tours with the music greats like Pearl Jam and Bob Dylan.
From the March of 2006 it was once again the Kings of Leon, Ethan Johns, Angelo Petraglia and the studio, as the band started recording its third studio album. Released on April 2, 2007, the album presented the band with a lot more polished and mature sound as compared to their previous ventures. The album peaked and debuted at the #1 spot in U.K and Ireland and convinced New Musical Express to cite them "one of the great American bands of our time". The while being positively reviewed by most of the music critics, the album gave hits like Knocked Up, Charmer, and My Party.
"Only by the Night" is their fourth and latest studio release that finally earned them the kind of exposure that the band deserved back in their homeland. Like the previous one, the album debuted at the #1 spot and kept that spot for the next week as well. After spanning hits like "Use Somebody" and "Sex is on Fire", their fourth album peaked at #5 spot on U.S Billboard Albums chart.
